There are many different reasons that the size of the washer and dryer will be important. The first reason would be if you are living in a place where there is limited space for your washer and dryer. If this is the case then getting a combo unit will help you to be sure that you have enough space to be able to put both of these machines without feeling like you are cramped. You will also find that this will allow you more room to actually move around your laundry room to get the laundry done that is needed. You always want to make sure that you have plenty of room to move around and get your task completed.

The next thing you need to look at is how much laundry the washer or dryer will be able to hold. For those that have families that are a bit larger you will want machines that will hold more. You will be able to look at the different specs of the combo units to determine how large or how small they are and if they will be able to hold the amount that you need it to for the size of your family. If you are still not sure then you can ask someone who knows more about washers and dryers and they can probably help you figure out if it is going to work for you or not.

You will need to still measure the place where you intend to put your washer and dryer combo to make sure that it will fit. Even though it is upright and not size by side you need to ensure that it will not be too wide for the place that you have in mind. If so you might have to move it to another location and it will be nice to have all the outlets and plumbing in the right places before you bring your washer and dryer home.
